Moni tietää arkeologisista kaivauksista Turun linnan liepeillä, mutta harva tietää muinaisista Aurajoen alla sijainneista maa-aloista. Viimeisin läpimurto kaivauksissa tapahtui Olavintiellä kun selvisi, että vedenalaiseen aarteistoon pääsi käsiksi suoraan sukellusveneellä! Ensimmäiset merkit antavatkin ymmärtää, että löydetyt esineet sijoittuvat Turun historian kulta-aikaan, liki 200-vuoden taakse… Jokin kaivauksissa on saanut kuitenkin Etelä-Suomen arkealogiaseuran järkkymään: kukaan ei suostu enää menemään kaivauksille tai puhumaan niiden sisällöstä. Miten jokin noin vanha voi olla niin järkyttävää? Mitä Turun vedenalainen aarre kertoo teille?
