Shambala

The year is 1969. Your expedition’s destination is Makalu, a Himalayan peak. Your goal is to collect topographic data from the summit and map a large, previously unexplored area at four kilometers altitude. But the journey does not go to plan: your team is suddenly buried by an avalanche. Fortunately everyone survives, but you are now lost and helpless—the avalanche swept away most of your equipment. You must find shelter, and quickly, as daylight is already fading into evening. Hours pass and you are exhausted from trudging, when suddenly you notice a glimmer of light in the middle of the dark night.
