A new exhibition taking over the Boing popup gallery space introduces us to previously unknown Espoo artist Ansa Vaara. The exhibition is a unique retrospective of Vaara's works, which are now on display for the first time in an official exhibition. The exhibition features selected works of textile art, photography, paintings and installations, many of which are interactive. In her works, Vaara addresses, among other things, the concept of Espoo and phenomena from Espoo, as well as world events from her own perspective. The unifying theme of the exhibition is motion and change. A unique interactive total artwork guides visitors to reach previously unseen and unexperienced spaces. “This is a captivating exhibition, from which escaping requires a visual eye, ingenuity, agility and clever communication," say the curators who have collaborated with the artist to compile the exhibition.
